Merry Christmas to all

President Bush this morning gave his weekly radio address, seeing as i am in the mood to listen to the views of others i decided to listen...until I heard him utter the following statement:

"Christmas time reminds each of us that we have a duty to our fellow citizens, that we are called to love our neighbor just as we would like to be loved ourselves. By volunteering our time and talents where they are needed most, we help heal the sick, comfort those who suffer, and bring hope to those who despair, one heart and one soul at a time. "

Wow

Too bad the most powerful man in the United States couldnt afford to offer services like free healthcare, child daycare, and robust social security to those in need, our neighboors.

Oh well, looks like once again POTUS has the will to say and the nerve to stand back.

Merry Christmas Mr. Bush, I'll make sure to tell the families I helped this season that you really do care with kind words on the radio while hard-working and honest americans are out there making a real difference. It makes me warm with christmas cheer knowing that you are using your power to back up your oh-so-touching words.

Merry Christmas America...Merry Christmas indeed
