Made in China?

No this is not a post about outsourcing.

The mighty nation of Kyrgyzstan recently ousted its president and revolutionaries overtook the capitol building and well the rest if the usual revolution stuff. Of course most of this has been overshadowed in the United States by what are deemed to be more importnat issues so I proudly present Kyrgyzstan: A Nation In Turmoil (Cue really scary fox alert music).
The reasoning for the title of this piece is that now the looters who control the capitol of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, have taken to a new idea: break into all the chinese places. Apparently the novelties, foods, and clothes sold by our neighbors to the east have angered the people of this former soviet province.

Oops, I guess years of hatred and racism do have a consequence.

well thats ok, look at america, the conservatives were the most racist people in the nation and they got re-elected just last election so no worries! hooray!

The victim here is two-fold. First of course I feel sympathy for the chinese merchants who did not contribute to the superiority complex felt by some of the Chinese nationals. The second is the entire nation at risk. Former soviet states just seem to love this new trend of revolution and an attempt at "forced" democracy. cool. The death and destruction of course are not good points but our freedom was won on the backs of farmers and slaves so why not grant the same entitlement to other nations. Its the least we can do.

Where is the UN in all of this? Incompetent as usual, and this coming from a Liberal.
Truly sad what has become of what could have been a mighty beacon for peace and security, oops #2.

Today is Easter, to the one billion chrisitians on this earth (myself included) I have this message: He Is Risen to save you, not to pressure your vote. Jesus wasnt a politician, lets not make him one.

To the jewish community: happy belated passover. I recently had the oppurtunity to particiapte in a seder meal and it was a wonderful experience. Good tides to all of you in this time of rememberance for your people's freedom.

To all others I ask that peace may come upon us and that you may enjoy the approaching spring season.
