Back to The Grind

Reflecting on this past week has taught me many valuable lessons. Many of them apply directly to the world of politics and more important, the parallel between society and national governments.

First: People at their very core will stop at nothing to achieve what I have dubbed "total responsibility." These are concepts or ideas that directly correlate to one of very few measures held by an individual. These measures contribute to ones political, social, and religious affinity. Does this mean we are all coded to behave and believe a certain way? No. Its a matter of how ones enviroment, intelligence, and determination are applied to scenarios across the spectrum. If the same set of rules and protocol are used for different scenarios then there is a core belief that will lead someone to act a particular way.

Second: The United State federal government has no concept any longer of its responsibility and how each branch is to work with one another. The above mentioned concept applies perfectly here. Without a reaffirmation of the constitutional beliefs heldand sworn to by members of Congress, the Executive and the Judiciary. It is difficult that they do not identify and differentiate between the powers and more importantly, the job description of each branch.

This is best exemplified by the following quote by House Maj. Leder Tom DeLay (R-TX)
"The Supreme Court Obviously does not understand what Congress is trying to do today. They refuse to follow the Congress."

WHAT!?

Are You Serious!?

That is the state of our Union. Super.

The Liberal Reality is being crushed by the Conservative Fantasy and we as Liberals must act as soon as possible.

Finally, as a note to all the conservatives/republicans (there is a difference now), thanks for all the comments of remembrance and sorrow for our fallen boys and girls. Your support is what keeps this nation standing.

Thanks Mr. Swift
