It gets better and better

Well the day was fairly crappy until this interesting tidbit came in today...

The nominee for homeland security chief, the New Yor Times has reported, lied under oath when questioned about his actions during the interrogation and arraignment of John Walker Lindh, also known as the American Talian, Johhny Jihad, and many others. Regardless, he was an american citizen and his rights were denied hiim when he was interrogated without his attorney present even though Lindh already had an attorney and it was on official court record that there was an attorney involved. This is yet another example of George W placing republican pawns into positions that should first of all be non-partisan and secondly condusive of the nominee's qualifications. It is a asad day in america when the only cabinet positions that has thus far knocked out two very public candidates is the position most prizedmy Bush, that of the security of our homeland. tsk tsk.

Well America, at least 51% of you, thanks for putting this nation to the test under a president that makes Warren G Harding look almost competent in the way he conducts business. I thought the Teapot Dome dilema was bad but boy was I way off.
