Another Day
First and foremost Mr. Bush said something today that will tickle the fancy of anyone who has any sanity left:
"I absolutely believe we did the right thing by going into Iraq despite there not being any WMD's."
holy Crap
just because, holy freakin crap
you must be kidding me. Lets have a short history lesson:
What year was the following stated by a certain, unelected, president? "Iraq has reconstituted its nuclear program, we must do what is *COUGH* right for America." Give up? may 2003! well. how quickly they forget.
First it was WMD's, oops
Next it was the "people", well you can read, look at the news and the elections that make ohio look like a PTA ballot.
Of course there's always O.I.L., i mean Operation Iraqi Liberation, whoops now that was a slip.
This is yet another method of subverting attention away from the obvious. President bush has failed this nation time and time again, the most glaring problem being that of the Iraqi nation. The others include the following:
homeland security, a lawyer for HS Secretary? please
EPA,former oil execs, yeah thats a solution
Social Security, Enron anyone? investing? now? and they called us liberals naive
Supreme Court, pack 'em in if they tow the line, nevermind their ability to be fair and frank in the courtroom
and, last but not least, the department of Justice, hah! gonzalez as AG? I almost fell out of my chair. thats ridiculous, the senate has exposed a number of problems with his counseling and his approval of torture methods at abu gharib. Yet...we trust him with our lives and, more importantly, our liberty?
I need a break, too much "compassionate conservatism" running around in my near-exploding brain.
later.
