I was so bored today...nothing exciting happening at home, but there has been a lot of news to cover so lets get started:
1. Massive 9.0 Earthquake shakes the entire planet. Major storms and squalls have been reported all over the world and the quake's center moved an island over 100 feet. Death tolls are stated to be in the 20,000 range. Those who are homeless as a result of the quake range in the range of over 1 million people. The number of American deaths, since thats all that Fox news would give since we here in america dont really care about other nationalities, 8 and counting. As more information comes available, specifcally what the US plans to do to help these poor nations it will be posted.
2. Donald Rumsfeld had some interesting things to say while in Iraq. The most notable comment was the following, ""I think all of us have a sense if we imagine the kind of world we would face if the people who bombed the mess hall in Mosul, or the people who did the bombing in Spain, or the people who attacked the United States in New York, shot down the plane over Pennsylvania and attacked the Pentagon, the people who cut off peoples' heads on television to intimidate, to frighten – indeed the word 'terrorized' is just that. Its purpose is to terrorize, to alter behavior, to make people be something other than that which they want to be."

3. Yushchenko won! The transportation ministry for Ukraine was found dead today of a Gunshot wound, hmmm, thats odd. Yanukovich is saying that he will challenge the results, note to Yanukovich Gore tried it and it didnt work so good luch in Ukraine.
4. Speaking of former communist nations the URF or United Russian Federation (Russia) has announce that they will be participating in major war game exercises with China in an unprecedented alliance. Well. Thats amusing. Nothing like a near-superpower and Russia hanging around together playing war games. Prediction: US needs to get its butt in gear and get out of Iraq as China and Russia? become the newest threats, and they have nuclear weapons. Get out the bomb shelters and ration cards kids the Cold war's beating the old drum and its gettin louder!
