I smell like pot

Yes, you read correctly.

To answer your first question, NO. I was working (i.e. canvassing for work) near downtown Tampa and the next name on my list was at this lovely looking apartment complex. My partner and I went inside to knock on some doors and wouldn't you know it one of the tenants is smoking pot, he and a few of his buddies. Usually I wouldn't really be all that surprised, but it was the stench and the lasting remnants of pot on my clothes that made me mad.

Today was good though. Meeting voters is always fun and everytime I canvass I meet the most interesting people and have what I consider to be my hardest debates. I have to try and justify why these REAL PEOPLE have to deal with healthcare, social security, and anything else that would worry them. I think that may be the real secret to winning an argument, debate real people about their actual issues. I know that sounds stupid but its true.

Other than that life is good, school is truckin along and I have some steady income doing something I love.
